Earnings call
Also called earnings call transcript, concall.
The management presentation and question session following a results announcement, transcribed and filed.
Prepared remarks are marketing. Information comes out in the question session, particularly in what isn't answered, in which analysts stopped asking about a topic, and in changes of language between quarters.
Try reading four consecutive transcripts in one sitting. It's one of the highest-value exercises available. Themes that disappear and later reappear become obvious in a way they never are one call at a time.
Track the questions, not the answers.
